As a Service Product Specialist in the Benelux and Nordics team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our service business growth. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs and designing tailored solutions to enhance laboratory productivity and efficiency. Collaborating closely with our sales team, you will create and support business growth opportunities across our services portfolio. Your role will involve developing and executing country-specific operational plans, leading cross-functional projects, and solving a broad range of operational and business challenges to support our objectives.

You will work collaboratively with regional product specialists, sales services teams, country sales organizations, regional marketing, and service delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve team goals. Additionally, you will monitor, capture, and report on relevant market trends and emerging business opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Customer Needs Identification: Utilize a customer-centric approach to identify and analyse customer needs, designing tailored solutions to enhance laboratory productivity and efficiency.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to identify and create business opportunities, providing comprehensive support to secure new business across the services portfolio.
  • Operational Planning: Develop and implement country-specific operational plans, focusing on the optimal product mix and addressing opportunities and challenges to drive service business growth in collaboration with the region sales manager.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring seamless collaboration with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve a wide range of issues, varying in scope and complexity, to support business objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with EMEA product specialists, sales services teams, country sales organizations, regional marketing, and service delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve team goals.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Monitor, capture, and report on relevant market trends and emerging business opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications

Your profile:

  • "Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent), with extensive relevant experience typically required for this level; a background in laboratory settings is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of laboratory service industry operations and markets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the role, with proven ability to work independently.
  • High motivation for growth and achievement, with practical, results-oriented experience in developing and implementing effective operational plans.
  • Established record of successfully influencing cross-functional responsibilities within a global organization.
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proven collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required. Proficiency in the local language is a plus.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
