ServiceNow Moveworks Developer & Architect About NewRocket

NewRocket is the AI-first Elite ServiceNow Partner that activates real value on the Now Platform. We are a global team of ServiceNow professionals who help enterprises run and grow their ServiceNow environments, with more than 4,000 successful projects delivered across the entire platform.

We were named ServiceNow's 2024 Worldwide Customer Workflow Partner of the Year and Creator Workflow Partner of the Year. Today our AI practice ships real work: FlightPath.AI takes customers from AI readiness to a working prototype in four weeks, and our Intelligent Agent Crew is a catalog of pre-built AI agents for high-impact enterprise workflows.

At NewRocket, people are not just the backbone; they're the heartbeat.

The Role

We are hiring a ServiceNow Moveworks Developer & Architect to lead the design, build, and rollout of the Moveworks AI Assistant for our enterprise customers, integrated end to end with the ServiceNow AI Platform.

ServiceNow completed its acquisition of Moveworks in December 2025, combining Moveworks' AI Assistant, enterprise search, and Reasoning Engine with ServiceNow's agentic AI and workflows. The result is an AI-native front door that turns employee conversations into completed work. Our customers are now asking how to deploy it, extend it, and govern it, and you will be the person who answers.

This is a hands-on architect role. You will own the solution design, build agents and plugins yourself in Agent Studio, and guide clients and delivery teams from discovery through production. You will work alongside NewRocket's AI practice, forward deployed engineering squads, and FlightPath.AI teams.

Location: [Remote / Hybrid — city] · Type: Full-time · Travel: [0–25%]

What You Will Be Doing

Architect

  • Design end-to-end solutions that combine the Moveworks AI Assistant, Reasoning Engine, and enterprise search with ServiceNow workflows, AI Agents, Now Assist, and AI governance.
  • Translate IT, HR, and enterprise service use cases (incident, request, access, asset, change, onboarding, knowledge) into agentic solutions that complete work across multiple systems.
  • Define integration architecture across ServiceNow, identity platforms (Okta, Entra ID), HRIS (Workday), collaboration channels (Teams, Slack), and other SaaS tools using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
  • Set standards for plugin design, authentication, access control, launch rules, testing, and observability so agents run reliably at scale.
  • Lead design sessions and architecture reviews with client IT, security, and platform teams.

Build

  • Configure, build, test, and optimize Moveworks Agent Studio agents and plugins (Agentic Automation Engine, HTTP actions, conversational processes, compound actions).
  • Build the ServiceNow side: Flow Designer, IntegrationHub spokes, Scripted REST APIs, Business Rules, and catalog and knowledge configuration that agents call into.
  • Tune enterprise search and knowledge retrieval (RAG) for answer quality, and use logs and analytics to troubleshoot plugin triggering and execution.
  • Promote solutions across environments and remediate production issues within scope.

Lead

  • Own Moveworks workstreams from discovery and design through build, test, and deployment using an agile delivery approach.
  • Coach and mentor Senior Software Engineers and Software Engineers on agentic AI patterns.
  • Contribute reusable accelerators, plugin templates, and leading practices to NewRocket's AI practice, FlightPath.AI engagements, and the Intelligent Agent Crew catalog.
  • Help pre-sales teams scope Moveworks opportunities and present solution designs to client leaders.
What You Bring Along
  • 7+ years implementing, configuring, or developing ServiceNow in 2 or more capabilities (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, CSM), including 2+ years in a solution architect or technical lead role.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Moveworks experience: Agent Studio or Creator Studio plugins, AI Assistant configuration, enterprise search, or a comparable conversational AI platform.
  • 4+ years building integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth and other authentication models, MID Server, and cloud-to-cloud patterns, including bi-directional integrations.
  • Strong ServiceNow scripting and build skills: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Scripted REST APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and UI Builder.
  • Working knowledge of LLM concepts: prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, agent orchestration, and evaluating AI output quality.
  • Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist, AI Agents, Virtual Agent, or Predictive Intelligence.
  • Client-facing consulting experience, with the ability to explain complex AI behavior in plain language to IT leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Certifications & Knowledge

The candidate must be willing and able to continue their education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond, including ServiceNow competency certifications, module accreditations, and Moveworks Academy courses.

Nice to Have
  • ServiceNow CSA and CAD; CIS-ITSM or CIS-HR; Now Assist or AI Agents micro-certifications.
  • Moveworks Academy certification (Agentic Automation Engine / Agent Studio).
  • ITIL 4 Foundation.
  • Experience migrating Moveworks classic workspaces (Paths, Queries, Events) to the Agentic Automation Engine.
  • Workday, Okta, Microsoft Teams, or Slack integration experience in an employee service context.
  • Python or JavaScript beyond the ServiceNow platform, and familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or other agent tool standards.
  • Prior experience at an Elite ServiceNow partner or a large consulting firm.
Why NewRocket
  • Be early on the biggest shift in ServiceNow. Moveworks is now ServiceNow's AI front door, and the talent pool is small. You will shape how one of the largest pure-play ServiceNow partners delivers it.
  • Build, don't just advise. Our forward deployed engineering squads and four-week FlightPath.AI engagements put working agents in front of customers fast.
  • Grow your credentials. We provide official ServiceNow training so you can achieve multiple certifications.
  • Work on enterprise-scale problems. More than 1,000 customers across financial services, healthcare, government, insurance, and technology.
  • A culture that cares. We foster a healthy work-life balance, a culture that thrives on collaboration and innovation, and support for professional growth. We #GoBeyondWorkflows. Come join our Crew!
