Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing defense autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations for the Department of Defense (DoD) through autonomous and intelligent platforms. We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to own, develop, and continuously improve our internal ServiceNow platform. You will serve as the primary technical resource across our active ITSM module, Service Catalog, and Employee Center, while driving the expansion and adoption of ITOM and Hardware Asset Management Pro.

This is a platform ownership role. You should think in terms of process efficiency, data integrity, and user adoption — not just ticket resolution. You will own the deployment of solutions and modules from end-to-end: from scoping and design through development, testing, and continuous improvement in production

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary developer and administrator for the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise environment

  • Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs

  • Build and manage Flow Designer flows, Subflows, and Actions to automate IT and business processes

  • Administer Update Sets and manage change promotion across Dev, Test, and Production environments

  • Design and deploy IntegrationHub spokes and spoke actions to automate workflows with enterprise identity, patch management, and monitoring platforms/tools

  • Build and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with internal systems and third-party tools

  • Configure and mature the Change Management module including change models, approval workflows, CAB automation, and risk assessment policies

  • Mature and maintain the CMDB including Discovery schedules, normalization rules, CI relationships, and data reconciliation

  • Manage Hardware Asset Management Pro configurations including asset lifecycle stages, disposal workflows, and reporting

  • Administer and optimize Discovery, MID Server configurations, and Service Mapping for infrastructure visibility

  • Design, build, and maintain Service Catalog items and Record Producers to expand self-service capabilities

  • Continuously improve the end-user experience through portal customization and feedback-driven iteration

  • Enforce Access Control Lists (ACLs) and role-based access controls (RBAC) to protect sensitive data

  • Partner with IT leadership and process owners to gather requirements and deliver scalable platform solutions

  • Document technical designs, integration architecture, and operational runbooks

  • Provide Tier 3 support and serve as the escalation point for platform-related incidents

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and server-side and client-side scripting within ServiceNow

  • Demonstrated experience with ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog

  • Demonstrated experience deploying ITOM modules: Discovery, CMDB, MID Server, and Service Mapping

  • Experience configuring Hardware Asset Management or IT Asset Management modules

  • Practical experience building automations using Flow Designer or Workflow Editor

  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP integration concepts and ServiceNow integration patterns

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and how they map to ServiceNow functionality

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

  • Experience with IntegrationHub including custom spoke development

  • Hands-on experience with CMDB governance and CSDM maturity initiatives

  • Familiarity with IT security and compliance frameworks relevant to defense contracting such as CMMC or NIST SP 800-171

  • Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)

  • Exposure to Performance Analytics, reporting, and KPI dashboard development

  • Experience in a defense, federal, or highly regulated IT environment

Benefits:
  • Medical Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance plans covering a range of services

  • Saronic pays 100% of the premium for employees and 80% for dependents

  • Dental and Vision Insurance: Coverage for routine dental check-ups, orthodontics, and vision care

  • Competitive Salary: Industry-standard salaries with opportunities for performance-based bonuses

  • Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan with company match

  • Stock Options: Equity options to give employees a stake in the company’s success

  • Life and Disability Insurance: Basic life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage
