Wavelo is a SaaS business on a mission to make telecoms a breeze.

We provide flexible software that modernizes how communication service providers (CSPs) do business, helping them drive more value, focus on customer experience, and scale their operations faster.

What's New at Tucows

As part of Tucows (NASDAQ:TCX, TSX:TC)—one of the world’s largest Internet services companies—Wavelo is backed by outstanding resources and talent. We embrace a people-first philosophy that is rooted in respect, trust, and flexibility. We believe that whatever works for our employees is what works best for us. It’s also why the majority of our roles are remote-first, meaning you can work from anywhere you can connect to the Internet!

The work we do genuinely changes lives. If this sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you!

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the evolution of our external integration framework — the core set of APIs and event-driven services that power how customers and partners connect with the Wavelo platform.

This is a critical role focused on designing and delivering a best-in-class API-as-a-Service experience. You’ll work closely with our Engineering teams to shape the external interface of our platform, while also engaging directly with Telecom customers to ensure successful onboarding and real-world usage. You'll also help lead efforts to align our platform with Telecom industry-standard API initiatives like TM Forum Open API and GSMA CAMARA.

What You’ll Do
  • Define, build and evolve our external API platform, enabling seamless, secure, and scalable integrations for customers and partners.
  • Own product delivery for event-driven and service-oriented interfaces, including webhooks, event streams, orchestration layers, and partner-facing services.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to scope, define, and deliver extensible API services — balancing platform vision with real-world needs.
  • Serve as a key liaison between customer delivery teams and product development — ensuring smooth onboarding, integration, and customization.
  • Lead the definition of service orchestration capabilities that coordinate internal and external interactions across the Wavelo platform.
  • Drive product discovery with customers and partners to ensure our integration experience meets their systems, processes, and use cases.
  • Help guide adoption of industry frameworks like TM Forum Open API and GSMA CAMARA, working cross-functionally to bring alignment with emerging standards.
  • Define success metrics and drive outcomes that improve developer experience, reduce integration friction, and increase time-to-value.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years in technical product management, ideally working on API platforms, developer tooling, or complex system integrations.
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with Engineering teams on event-driven architectures, microservices, and RESTful API design.
  • Familiarity with customer onboarding, delivery, and post-sales technical support — especially in a SaaS or enterprise setting.
  • Strong product instincts backed by technical fluency — you can translate platform complexity into clear, compelling value for customers.
  • Proven ability to gather feedback, prioritize strategically, and deliver iteratively in Agile environments.
  • Passion for clean, intuitive developer experiences and well-documented APIs.
  • Experience with telecom systems and standards is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with TM Forum Open API and GSMA CAMARA efforts is a strong bonus — or interest in leading these efforts.
Why You’ll Love This Role

You’ll be at the center of shaping how external users interact with a modern telecom platform — creating meaningful impact for developers, partners, and customers alike. You’ll also have the chance to lead standard-setting work and help Wavelo create a world-class API ecosystem.

The base salary range for this position is $134,100 - $149,000 USD for US residents OR $120,690 - $134,100 CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ.
