The Role
Nebius is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter - AI/LLM & Infrastructure to strengthen our Tech Talent Acquisition team and help us attract world-class engineering talent. This role will focus on hiring experts in LLM, Inference optimization, large-scale distributed systems, and high-performance infrastructure, including Backend, ML Platform, ML Ops, and GPU engineering. You will play a key role in scaling our AI and R&D teams by building deep, high-quality talent pipelines and partnering closely with our engineering leadership.
This role will be based in the USA (East Coast) Remotely.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Deep Technical Sourcing (LLM, Inference, Systems, GPU):
Proactively identify and engage senior-level engineers and researchers across a wide range of AI/ML and systems domains.
Use advanced sourcing methods across LinkedIn and GitHub engineering communities, open-source projects, conferences, and expert networks.
Pipeline Development:
Build and maintain long-term pipelines of senior engineers for current and future strategic roles. Provide hiring teams with regular funnel analytics, insights, and forecasts.
High-Touch Candidate Engagement:
Craft tailored communication for senior and niche candidates. Build trust, communicate value, and represent Nebius’s mission, technical challenges, and engineering culture.
Technical Screening:
Conduct initial calls to evaluate technical depth, hands-on experience with modern AI and systems technologies, and overall fit.
Close Partnership with Engineering Leadership:
Work directly with engineering and research managers to understand role requirements in detail and shape effective hiring strategies.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor global trends in LLM research, AI infrastructure, inference efficiency, model deployment, and GPU availability. Identify the strongest companies and labs for targeted sourcing.
We Expect You To Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in technical recruitment, with a strong focus on senior-level hiring.
- Proven track record hiring in AI/ML, LLMs, Inference, distributed systems, HPC, infrastructure, GPU engineering, or related areas.
- Strong sourcing expertise and deep understanding of modern engineering roles, tech stacks, and motivations of senior candidates.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment, balancing multiple complex searches.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Curiosity, creativity, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies.
