Senior Tax Accountant - Internal Firm Partnership Tax

We are seeking for an Internal Firm Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The person in this role will have the opportunity to work remotely within the United States

The Tax Senior in the internal partnership tax group is responsible for preparing and reviewing all Partner and corporate 1040 tax returns for the firm. This role requires strong technical expertise in partnership and corporate taxation, excellent client service skills, and the ability to manage complex tax engagements with accuracy and timeliness. The Tax Senior will also support the development of junior staff and contribute to the overall success of the tax team.

As a Tax Senior, you will:

• Prepare and review Partner and corporate 1040 tax returns, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with all relevant tax laws and firm policies.

• Manage multiple tax engagements simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality deliverables.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to Associates and Interns, assisting in their technical development and knowledge growth.

• Communicate effectively with internal clients (partners and corporate entities), responding proactively and tailoring the client experience to their needs.

• Collaborate with other tax professionals and service lines to leverage firm resources and deliver comprehensive tax solutions.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations, industry trends, and firm procedures through continuous learning and professional development.

• Perform thorough self-reviews and quality control checks on all workpapers and documentation before submission.

• Support the firm’s shared values by fostering a positive team environment and contributing to employee engagement.

• Participate in firm-sponsored training, networking, and development activities to enhance technical and professional skills.

What you bring to the role:

• Typically 2-3 years of relevant tax experience, preferably with exposure to partnership and corporate tax returns.

• CPA license is preferred or in progress.

• Strong technical knowledge of partnership taxation, corporate tax compliance, and related tax regulations.

• Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with partners and internal clients.

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support firm culture and values.
