The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and securing large-scale IT systems, focusing on IBM z14 infrastructure and zOS operations.

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with zOS experience to remotely support our federal customer located in Clarksburg, WV. Responsibilities
- Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.
- System administrator will ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users.
- Primary responsibility is the operations and maintenance of the legacy NCIC mainframe
- (IBM z14) infrastructure, compute, and storage platform.
- Installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of zOS operating system, CICS, DB2 Relational Database Management System, IBM Products and Utilities, CA/Broadcom tools, BMC Product Suite.
- System monitoring and reporting.
- Performance monitoring, analysis, and tuning.
- Pervasive Encryption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of work experience.
- Active Tier 3 Secret clearance.
- Experience with IBM z 14
- Experience with zOS operating system, DB2 Relational Database Management System, IBM Products and Utilities, CA/Broadcom tools, BMC Product Suite, preferred.
