Position Profile:

As a Senior Support Specialist with COGS-Well, you will be responsible for offering advanced technical support and customer consultation, requiring in-depth product knowledge and exceptional problem-solving skills to address complex system support issues.  We are seeking an individual with extensive experience in restaurant inventory, recipe, and cost management software.  The Senior Support Specialist will act as a liaison and trusted advisor between large scale customers and product development.  They will provide input for improvements and enhancements to COG-Well’s products and solutions, as well as be involved in testing new product releases.  This is a fully remote, independent contractor role with a competitive compensation based upon experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert on COGS-Well’s software.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex support issues.
  • Provide consultation and support to COGS-Well’s larger restaurant clients.
  • Handle escalations from the support team.
  • Act as a resource to the support and implementation teams.
  • Collaborate with product management and development to resolve customer issues.
  • Provide input for product updates and enhancements to product management and development.
  • Assist in testing new product releases as time permits.
  • Offer suggestions and input to the documentation and training teams.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with restaurant inventory, recipe, and cost management software.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations.
  • Experience supporting end-users of software applications.
  • Ability to quickly learn ad master software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
