About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology organization and be part of our Chief Technology Office (CTO) team. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .
You will define the strategy and solutions to build innovative engineering accelerators, frameworks, and libraries to enable Wells Fargo digital transformation and cloud adoption. You will provide subject matter expertise and technology guidance to drive Wells Fargo standards and best practices to support development teams in group CIO areas to manage their technology domains and meet customer expectations. You will implement frameworks and libraries using C# on .NET platform. You will partner with Enterprise Pipeline team on Continuous Improvement/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tool chain, and with the InfoSec team for security vulnerability remediations.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of programming experience in C#
  • 1+ year of experience with Agile development practices
  • 1+ year of experience in building and deploying microservices and RESTful APIs
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise grade shared frameworks and services with ability to operate through an enterprise level inner source model
  • Experience with application modernization into Cloud ready or Cloud native application and services development into a hybrid cloud/multi-cloud eco system
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
  • Knowledge and understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Behavior-Driven Design (BDD), Test-Driven Design (TDD), SOLID architecture concepts

Pay Range:
