Job Role and Responsibility:
Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments. Contribute to large scale planning of strategies. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures. Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals. Drive projects. Individual contributor role. Telecommuting permitted. Position must report in person to location listed as work location weekly.

Required Qualifications:
Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field.
Alternative degree required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field.
Amount and type of experience required: 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.
Alternative experience required: 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.
Specific skills required:
  • Experience with JAVA/J2EE; RESTful or SOAP web services; and SAS, SQL, or other data management, reporting, and query tools
  • Experience with one of the following databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata, MongoDB, or DB2 LUW
  • Experience with continuous integration tools Anthill or Jenkins
  • Experience with Linux or UNIX
  • Experience with Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and performance tuning
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools Jenkins or Urbancode Deploy
  • Experience with Maven; Oracle; or SVN
  • Experience in Application Programming Interface (API) or User Interface (UI) design and development
  • Experience in automations and unit testing using Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Junit, or Jmeter
  • Experience with AngularJS, React JS, or Node JS
  • Experience with Hibernate, Microservices, Agile methodologies, Jira, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools
  • Experience with Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
  • Experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools: Spark, Hive, Kafka, or Map
  • UI development experience
  • WebLogic or WebSphere experience
  • Experience with Apache Tomcat, XML, and HTML5
  • Experience in Container Orchestration tools: Kubernetes or Docker
Salary: $127,878 - $163,000 per year.
