In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of experience in Agile Frameworks and Scrum Methods
- 2+ years of experience in JavaScript and Python
- 4+ years of experience in Software testing platform (Selenium, Cypress)
- 4+ years of experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Github, Artifactory)
- 4+ years of experience in MongoDB usage.
- 1 year of experience in AI / Agentic Workflow development.
- Position Overview: The Senior Software Engineer - Test Automation will be an integral part of the software development team, responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software components. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to identify test scenarios, build robust automation frameworks, and continuously improve testing processes.
- Test Planning & Design:
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Design and document automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Automation Development:
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation of code changes.
- Execution & Reporting:
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Report bugs with detailed documentation and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintenance & Optimization:
- Refactor and optimize test scripts for scalability and performance.
- Maintain test environments and data to support consistent and reliable test execution.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Provide feedback on application usability and suggest improvements from a testing perspective.
