- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- The ideal candidate should be able to ramp up on the implementation in relatively short duration
- The ideal candidate should be able to think outside the box and come up with solutions for day to day implementation issues
- The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate ownership and develop/support the implementation holistically as opposed to specific modules within the implementation
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data engineering solutions utilizing Pyspark and Object Storage
- Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering
- Working experience in the financial forecasting and planning space
- Experience implementing CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices within data engineering environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and automation solutions
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause resolution.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data lakes, and data governance principles.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and establishing engineering best practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, analytics, and business teams
- Familiarity with multi-dimensional databases, particularly Essbase
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
