Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer 2 in Charlotte, NC.
Job Role and Responsibility:
Drive moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments. Contribute to large scale planning of strategies. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures. Resolve moderately complex issues and guide a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals. Drive projects. Individual contributor role. Telecommuting is permitted. Must report in person to the location listed as the work location weekly. Multiple positions available.

Required Qualifications:
Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field.
Amount and type of experience required: 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software or application engineering and development experience.
Specific skills required:
Specific skills required: Four (4) years of experience with the software development lifecycle; experience with one of the following databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata, Mongo DB, or DB2. Must possess 4 years of experience with at least six 6 of the following technical skills: • Experience with JAVA/J2EE; . Experience with RESTful or SOAP web services; • Experience with SAS or SQL; • Experience with Agile methodologies; Experience with AngularJS, React JS, or Node JS; • Experience with Hibernate; • Experience with Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF); • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools; • Experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools: Spark, Hive, Kafka, or Map; • Experience with Apache Spark design and development using Scala, Java, Python, or Data Frames with RDD; • UI development experience; • Experience with Microservices; WebLogic or WebSphere experience; • Experience with Apache Tomcat, XML, and HTML5; • Experience with Ab Initio; • Experience in building integrations with Google Analytics, Tealium Tag Management, or Oracle Maxymiser Web Optimization platforms; • Experience with Apache Hadoop ecosystem tools; • Experience in Container Orchestration tools: Kubernetes or Docker.
