Make Your Mark:
The Senior Salesforce Administrator role will primarily support the day-to-day operations of Salesforce and its integrated applications, ensuring stability, issue resolution, and continuous optimization. This role requires a strong understanding of operational workflows, data management, user support, and the ability to manage projects and training initiatives effectively.
You'll Get To:
- Design and implement updates to Salesforce or its 3rd party application solutions using best practices through standard configuration, with a focus on stability and supportability
- Develop clear end-user and stakeholder business requirements and specifications, especially for issues and enhancements reported via support channels
- Influence change and drive user adoption in support of a growing Salesforce environment, including providing front-line support and user guidance
- Analyze and resolve user-reported issues, data discrepancies, and system errors, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Plan and support user requirements to design, configure, and administer SFDC, including but not limited to APEX code, test classes, Visualforce pages, custom objects/fields, validation rules, triggers, page layouts, permissions, and complex workflows
- Own full-cycle administration, including monitoring, user management, access control, training, and documentation using industry best practices within Salesforce
- Document and maintain support processes, policies, application configuration, and help-related materials for users
- Provide recommendations for improving user experience and system performance based on incident trends and usage patterns
- Stay up to date on new Salesforce and 3rd party application products, features, and functionality to enhance issue resolution and support capabilities
- Initiate, plan, and execute projects or enhancements, as well as manage day-to-day support tickets and service requests
- Mentor junior staff to support knowledge sharing and professional growth, particularly in support and troubleshooting best practices
- Manage Gainsight and FinancialForce application portfolio including production support and enhancement coordination
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with a focus on administration, production support, and troubleshooting
- Proven experience supporting Salesforce Classic and Lightning (Lightning migration a plus)
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ & Billing, Ironclad Contracts, and Einstein Analytics in a support and admin context
- Strong Salesforce.com administration/configuration, reporting, and analytics skills
- Experience managing and supporting 3rd party integrations and AppExchange packages like Marketo, DocuSign, Gainsight, Apttus, Ironclad, and FinancialForce
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working directly with end-users and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly resolve system issues
- Experience with ticketing systems, incident tracking, and root cause analysis
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset with a customer service orientation
- Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate effectively, and adapt to new technologies

Salary Range:
USD $112,000.00 - USD $140,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
