Reports to: Director, Revenue and Sales Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

About the Role

Ever.Ag is seeking a highly analytical, commercially minded Revenue Operations professional to help strengthen our sales execution, pricing strategy, sales compensation programs, and overall revenue performance.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role working closely with Sales leadership, Finance, Product, and Customer Success to improve the effectiveness and profitability of our go-to-market organization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing deal pricing and commercial proposals, supporting executive Deal Review Board decisions, designing and administering sales compensation programs, and providing actionable insights into sales performance, productivity, and growth opportunities.

We are looking for someone with strong financial and analytical capabilities, sound business judgment, and the ability to translate data into practical recommendations. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, resourceful, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of taking ownership of multiple priorities.

This is not primarily a systems administration or reporting role. It is an opportunity to directly influence commercial decisions and help build a more disciplined, scalable, and effective revenue organization.

What You’ll Do

Sales Compensation & Performance Management

  • Partner with Sales leadership and Finance to develop and refine sales compensation plans aligned with revenue growth, profitability, and strategic priorities.

  • Develop commission structures, incentive programs, quota models, and performance measures for enterprise sales, inside sales, business development, and account management roles.

  • Support the administration and measurement of sales compensation plans, including commission calculations, attainment reporting, and exception analysis.

  • Analyze sales productivity, quota attainment, pipeline generation, conversion rates, and individual and team performance.

  • Recommend improvements to sales compensation programs and performance management practices based on financial and operational analysis.

Deal Desk, Pricing & Commercial Strategy

  • Serve as a key commercial resource supporting complex and high-value sales opportunities.

  • Partner directly with account executives and Sales leadership to develop pricing proposals and commercial structures that balance customer value, competitive positioning, revenue growth, and profitability.

  • Develop and maintain pricing models, discount guidelines, and deal economics to improve consistency across products and customer segments.

  • Prepare financial and commercial analyses for executive Deal Review Board meetings, including ARR, TCV, discounting, implementation costs, margin considerations, and contractual commitments.

  • Evaluate nonstandard commercial arrangements, including multi-year agreements, bundled products, enterprise agreements, and strategic pricing exceptions.

  • Work with Product, Finance, and Customer Success to evaluate implementation requirements and financial implications of proposed customer commitments.

  • Help improve the speed, quality, and consistency of commercial decision-making.

Sales Analytics & Business Insights

  • Analyze sales performance across products, verticals, territories, and individual sales representatives.

  • Develop actionable insights into pipeline quality, bookings performance, sales conversion, average deal size, sales cycle duration, and forecast accuracy.

  • Identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and productivity.

  • Partner with Sales leadership to evaluate territory coverage, resource allocation, sales capacity, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Develop analytical models and recommendations to support sales strategy, investment decisions, and revenue growth initiatives.

  • Translate complex data into concise, executive-ready analyses and recommendations.

Revenue Planning & Forecasting

  • Partner with Sales and Finance on annual revenue planning, bookings targets, sales capacity models, and quarterly forecasts.

  • Support the development of product-level and vertical-level growth plans, including revenue opportunities, required investment, and go-to-market assumptions.

  • Analyze actual performance against forecasts, budgets, and operating plans.

  • Develop scenario analyses to evaluate the financial implications of proposed sales investments, pricing changes, and organizational decisions.

  • Support recurring-revenue analysis, including new ARR, expansion, renewals, churn, and net revenue retention.

Commercial Process Improvement & Sales Enablement

  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve pricing, deal approvals, sales compensation, and revenue reporting processes.

  • Help establish practical commercial policies that support disciplined decision-making without creating unnecessary administrative complexity.

  • Work effectively within Salesforce and Salesforce Revenue Cloud to access, validate, and analyze opportunity, pricing, and revenue information.

  • Partner with Revenue Operations and systems resources to identify improvements to CRM workflows, data quality, and reporting capabilities.

  • Leverage analytics, automation, and AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate analysis, and reduce manual work.

  • Develop clear, practical tools and templates that enable the sales organization to operate more effectively.

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Legal Studies, Economics, or a related field.

  • Approximately 2–3 years or more of relevant experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, Pricing, Sales Strategy, or a similar analytical business role.

  • Demonstrated experience in at least several of the following areas: sales compensation, commercial pricing, deal economics, financial modeling, sales analytics, or revenue planning.

  • Strong financial aptitude, analytical reasoning, and advanced Excel skills, including the ability to develop financial and commercial models.

  • Experience using Salesforce, preferably Salesforce Revenue Cloud, to support commercial analysis and revenue operations.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present analysis and recommendations to senior leaders.

  • Commercial judgment, attention to detail, and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience in B2B enterprise software, SaaS, or recurring-revenue businesses.

  • Experience developing or supporting sales compensation plans, commission structures, and quota models.

  • Experience building pricing models and supporting complex commercial negotiations.

  • Familiarity with SaaS financial metrics, including ARR, TCV, gross margin, retention, and sales productivity.

  • Experience with business intelligence, data visualization, automation, or AI-enabled analytical tools.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Commercially Minded: Understands how sales decisions affect revenue growth, profitability, and customer value.

Analytical and Financially Strong: Can build models, interpret data, identify trends, and translate analysis into recommendations.

Hands-On and Resourceful: Comfortable moving between strategic analysis and detailed execution without requiring extensive support.

Proactive and Accountable: Takes ownership, anticipates needs, and drives work through completion.

Pragmatic: Focuses on business outcomes and simple, effective processes rather than unnecessary complexity.

Collaborative and Influential: Works effectively with Sales, Finance, Product, and Customer Success and can constructively challenge assumptions.

High Potential: Demonstrates the intellectual curiosity, initiative, and ambition to grow into broader commercial leadership responsibilities.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6–12 months, the successful candidate will have:

  • Helped establish consistent pricing models and commercial guidelines across key Ever.Ag products.

  • Improved the quality and speed of executive Deal Review Board decisions.

  • Supported the development and administration of effective sales compensation plans.

  • Delivered meaningful insights into sales productivity, pipeline performance, and revenue trends.

  • Strengthened sales forecasting, financial analysis, and revenue planning.

  • Simplified commercial processes and improved collaboration across Sales, Finance, and Product.
