Job Description & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Associate Director, Support Engineering, our Senior Publisher Support Engineer will troubleshoot, optimize, and improve live ads on our publishers’ websites. As a core member of our operations team, you will serve as a proactive contributor and problem solver who can maintain a level head even in high-stakes situations. You will:

  • Lead the troubleshooting and adjustment of live ads on new and existing publisher websites, writing unique JavaScript and CSS solutions where needed.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert, managing complex projects from start to finish with minimal supervision and keeping the team informed about new developments in your assigned area.
  • Function as a key communication point, interacting effectively with both internal teams and external clients to resolve issues and drive solutions.
  • Take full ownership of projects and new publisher onboarding, ensuring they are driven to completion and meet all objectives.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in frontend web design using JavaScript and HTML. Knowledge of React and SPA frameworks is required.
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of the AdTech industry, including hands-on experience troubleshooting, configuring, and customizing ad wrappers. Prebid and GAM expertise is required.
  • Proven understanding of the supply-side business, including the interplay between revenue and user experience.
  • Extensive experience debugging live websites; a strong ability to read and understand ad code is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of ad product types and how to select the appropriate product fit for a given publisher.
  • Expertise in using the Chrome developer console.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to a variety of audiences.
