We are seeking a Senior Project Manager I- MEP with 10+ years of professional experience to join our growing MEP team in the Austin, TX or Tampa, FL office.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of MEP systems, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Lead MEP projects from inception through closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across large-scale projects.
  • Manage and mentor a team of MEP engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and supporting professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, lead pursuit strategy, and author or contribute to proposals and qualifications packages.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and with key client accounts to expand the firm's market presence.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resource plans; proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and progress meetings; prepare and present clear, accurate project reports.
  • Drive consistent use of project management processes and procedures across the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; PMP or equivalent project management certification accepted in lieu.
  • 10+ years of experience in MEP project management.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes and standards.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or MS Project.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple active projects.
