We are seeking an experienced ERP Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of our NetSuite ecosystem. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end business processes within NetSuite, ensuring alignment with business objectives, driving automation and efficiency, and enhancing system capabilities. The ERP Product Owner will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring the successful delivery of NetSuite FSCM solutions.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • BS Degree or additional amount of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in a Product Owner, ERP Manager, Business Systems Analyst, or related role with a strong focus on NetSuite ERP.
  • 4 years' experience working with tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow

It would be great if you also have…

  • Extensive knowledge of NetSuite configuration, workflows, saved searches, reporting, scripting capabilities and integrations
  • Deep understanding of core business processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Financial Reporting, and Inventory Management
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems, define clear requirements, and translate them into effective NetSuite solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

What will you be doing in this role? 

  • Own and manage the NetSuite platform strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability needs.
  • Serve as the primary product owner for NetSuite within the organization, working closely with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, prioritize enhancements, and implement best-in-class solutions.
  • Act as the key liaison between finance, operations, procurement, sales, IT, and executive leadership, gathering business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
  • Maintain and continuously refine the NetSuite product backlog, prioritizing based on business impact, feasibility, and strategic objectives.
  • Define and document business processes, system workflows, and functional requirements to optimize NetSuite performance.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and system administrators to design, test, and deploy enhancements, integrations, and customizations.
  • Lead Agile development efforts, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and stakeholder demos.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of NetSuite configurations, including workflows, reports, dashboards, roles, permissions, saved searches, and custom scripts.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives, ensuring that NetSuite is leveraged effectively to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Ensure seamless integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, procurement systems, analytics platforms) by defining integration requirements and collaborating with technical teams.
  • Partner with finance, tax, and compliance teams to ensure NetSuite meets regulatory requirements and supports audit readiness.
  • Monitor system performance and data integrity, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure platform stability and reliability.
  • Develop and deliver training, documentation, and change management strategies, ensuring business users effectively adopt and utilize NetSuite capabilities.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to leadership on NetSuite performance, roadmap progress, key initiatives, and risks.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, system integrators, and implementation partners, ensuring successful project execution and ongoing platform support.
  • Evaluate and recommend new features, technologies, and third-party applications that enhance NetSuite functionality and align with business objectives.
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making, optimize system usage, and improve reporting capabilities.

Hours of Work

  • This is a hybrid position, based near our offices in Kansas City, Philadelphia or Ann Arbor
  • This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours EST or CST
