As a Senior Product Marketing Manager on the Product Marketing team within the Consumer & Business group, you'll own the go-to-market strategy for trading products in the Coinbase retail app. This team defines the narrative that Coinbase is the best place to trade across asset classes, from spot to perpetual futures and options. You'll be the connective tissue between the trading product team and marketing, driving trading volume growth through product launches, sharp positioning, and creative growth programs that turn awareness into action.

What you'll do:

  • Own the end-to-end trading PMM strategy, translating a complex product suite (perpetual futures, options, margin, spot) into customer-first positioning and messaging that drives adoption.
  • Lead go-to-market for new trading instrument launches on the retail app, including audience strategy, value proposition development, channel planning, creative briefing, and measurement.
  • Drive trading volume growth across the full funnel, partnering with CRM and growth teams to activate awareness campaigns, new product launches, and win-back programs targeting churned traders.
  • Conceive and execute novel engagement programs (trading competitions, incentives, event-driven campaigns) that reach active traders and accelerate adoption of new instruments.
  • Build deep customer understanding across trader segments, from first-time derivatives users to active traders with accounts at competitors, turning insights into smarter positioning and product feedback.
  • Define success metrics tied to trading volume and instrument adoption, monitor performance, run experiments, and deliver clear recommendations to product and marketing leadership.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of product marketing, growth marketing, or product management experience in a consumer-facing app with a demonstrated track record of driving measurable trading or financial product adoption.
  • Hands-on experience marketing trading, investing, or derivatives products at companies such as Robinhood, SoFi, Tastytrade, Schwab, Kraken, Binance, or similar, with deep familiarity with active trader behavior and motivations.
  • Proven ability to own both product launches and growth strategy end-to-end, from positioning and messaging through channel execution and performance measurement.
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills with demonstrated experience defining success metrics, running experiments, and using data to inform campaign and product decisions.
  • Experience running large-scale growth programs, engagement campaigns, or win-back initiatives that drove measurable volume or retention outcomes.
  • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
