About RDC+

Realtor.com has connected home buyers and agents for 25 years. RDC+ is the division building what comes next: an AI-first collaboration platform that replaces the transactional lead handoff with a genuine working relationship between agents and buyers — from first search to closed deal.

We operate as a focused product team (2–5 PMs) embedded within a larger org. You'll have real autonomy, real resources, and real constraints. This is not a greenfield startup — it's a high-stakes product bet inside a scaled company, which means you'll need to be as good at navigating stakeholders as you are at shipping.

The Role

You'll own goal-based roadmaps within our agent platform — meaning your focus shifts based on where the data says the biggest problem is. One quarter you may be heads-down on activation because onboarding drop-off is the constraint. The next, retention or conversion becomes the priority. Leadership sets the overall KPIs; you dig into the data, identify the levers, and build the roadmap to move them.

This is not a role where you architect the platform top-down. It's a role where you find the friction, propose the fix, ship it, and measure it — repeatedly.

You'll work directly with engineering, design, and data science, and collaborate closely with the PM owning the consumer experience.

What You'll do:

  • Goal-based roadmaps within the agent platform — your scope shifts between activation, retention, and conversion based on product priorities
  • Experimentation program — you'll design and run A/B tests, form hypotheses from behavioral data, and make the call on what to scale, iterate, or kill
  • Feature execution across agent-facing surfaces — intelligent search, dynamic feeds, real-time chat, AI-assisted scheduling and follow-ups
  • Cross-platform touchpoints — features that connect the agent and consumer experience when an active relationship exists

You influence KPI targets collaboratively with leadership — you don't set them unilaterally, and you don't just execute against them blindly. You're expected to push back with data when something doesn't add up.

What you'll bring:

  • 6+ years of product management, with meaningful time on a B2B, prosumer, or two-sided marketplace product
  • Direct experience owning activation or retention roadmaps — you've diagnosed funnel problems, built solutions, and measured outcomes yourself
  • Strong experimentation instincts — you write your own queries, form your own hypotheses, and know the difference between a result and a story you're telling yourself
  • Comfort operating in both UX (research, wireframing) and technical (APIs, data pipelines) conversations without needing a translator

Strong signal:

  • Experience on a platform serving two distinct user types on shared underlying data
  • Familiarity with how real estate agents work and get paid — industry experience not required, but you should be able to learn the domain fast
  • Have worked in an environment where priorities shifted based on data, not annual planning cycles

This role is probably not right for you if:

  • You want to own a stable, long-horizon platform roadmap
  • You haven't worked directly with behavioral analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel) or written SQL to answer your own product questions
  • You prefer KPIs to be fully defined before you engage, rather than helping shape how they're measured
  • You've primarily built consumer products and haven't navigated the B2B or prosumer dynamic

Why This Problem Is Worth Your Time

The real estate transaction is one of the highest-stakes purchases a person makes — and the tools agents use to manage it are genuinely poor. There's a real opportunity to build something professionals depend on daily. If that problem interests you, we'd like to talk.
