The Senior Product Manager will drive roadmaps, validate product strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Hive's platform for event marketers.
The summary above was generated by AI

At Hive, we bring people together through unforgettable live experiences. Hive exists to help live events grow. We make it easy for promoters to build strong connections with their audiences via our industry leading platform.

We are looking to add a Senior Product Manager to deliver impactful solutions that strengthen the connection between artists, shows, and their fanbase with our “Foundations” pods - teams that triage and solve user problems across the Hive product to ultimately make our users better event marketers.

What does the Product team look like?

Hive is an email marketing automation platform, empowering brands to personalize their marketing strategies. The Product team plays a pivotal role in understanding our customers needs and technical challenges to define product strategies and ultimately, deliver value in a seamless way to our platform users. Under the leadership of our VP, Product, the team is at the center of driving what we build and when we build it as efficiently as possible.

What I get up to:

  • Own and drive the Foundations Pods (there are two) roadmaps, ensuring we’re shipping the highest-impact work with speed and clarity.

  • Build simple, sharp product strategies rooted in customer needs and clear hypotheses about how Hive can make marketers more successful.

  • Validate early and often—prototyping, running fast research, gathering data, and knowing when to double down or pivot.

  • Translate strategy into an actionable, prioritized roadmap that keeps the team unblocked and building toward measurable outcomes.

  • Work hands-on with Design and Engineering to ensure everyone understands the why and we’re moving fast with the right level of quality.

  • Collaborate with leaders across R&D (Staff Eng, Design, Product) to maintain strong alignment and momentum.

  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Sales to ensure features land effectively and deliver value in the real world.

What I need to be successful

  • 5+ years in SaaS product management, ideally in fast-moving, high-ownership environments.

  • A track record of delivering impact quickly, using hypothesis-driven roadmaps and tight execution loops.

  • Experience doing your own research—talking to customers, testing assumptions, digging into problems directly.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling, enabling you to align teams and create excitement around what’s next.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to form data-driven insights that push the product forward.

We understand that, especially in product roles, we all bring different strengths to the table. If you meet some but not all of our requirements or think you bring something else unique to the table please don’t hesitate to apply. We’d love to hear from you even if you’re not an exact match to our list.

Nice to haves

A side skill-set in design or coding would be useful but is not required in this role. Experience in martech or event marketing would also be a big asset!

How I show up

  • You have excellent communication skills, influencing and coordinating across departments

  • You ship to learn, focusing on the riskiest assumptions and finding the fastest path to insight

  • You thrive in ambiguity and can create clarity for those around you. You own your product area in every direction

  • You own your product area end-to-end, caring about impact and experience over features shipped.

Compensation & Benefits Package

  • Meaningful salary + equity: you’re rewarded based on impact

  • Work fully remotely in Canada or the US: where you are most productive whether that be from your house, or elsewhere. We just ask that you have the legal work authorization in the country that you reside and work within.

  • Flexible work hours: customize your schedule as long as it’s not disruptive to your role, team, and Hive

  • Health + Insurance: Comprehensive health and dental coverage with a parental leave top-up program

  • Unlimited vacation/PTO policy: so you can be happy and healthy!
