Role DescriptionWe want to hear from people who…
  • Have a passion for growing software businesses and staying up to date with industry leaders like Elena Verna, Kyle Poyar, Lenny Rachitsky, and Brian Balfour.

  • Love doing Growth work and strive to be among the best in the field.

  • Enjoy running A/B tests and experiments to optimize performance.

  • Are highly analytical and can translate strategic insights into measurable business impact.

  • Find scouring data for insights deeply satisfying.

Responsibilities
  • Own the product roadmap for acquiring and onboarding new accounts into Givebutter.

  • Partner with the VP of Growth to define the product strategy for the Growth pod.

  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Marketing to build onboarding experiences that drive activation and increase new account acquisition.

  • Analyze data and customer research to develop product experiences and experiments that improve activation and acquisition.

  • Lead experiments and new features from ideation to deployment, ensuring they deliver meaningful business impact.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a high-scale B2B SaaS or data-driven B2C environment with 100K+ MAUs.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS unit economics, including cohort analysis, CAC, conversion rates, retention, and customer lifetime value.

  • Data fluency—comfortable with SQL and spreadsheets; Python is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking—able to connect product, marketing, and business objectives through data-driven decision-making.

  • Experimentation mindset—experience running A/B tests, pricing tests, and interpreting results.

  • Bonus: Background in Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Performance Marketing.

Interview Process

Below is a high-level outline of our standard interview process

  1. Recruiter Screen: A 30-minute conversation to learn more about your background, walk through the role, and ensure mutual alignment on expectations, values, and logistics.

  2. Hiring Manager Interview: A deeper dive into your relevant experience, skillset, and working style. This is your first opportunity to connect directly with the person who may be your future manager.

  3. Assessment (technical or non-technical): This stage will vary based on the role. It could involve a live coding session, case study, or take-home project. Some roles may include two parts to this stage to evaluate both practical skills and problem-solving approaches

  4. Values Interview: A conversation with team members focused on how you align with our core values and leadership principles.

  5. References: We connect with a few folks you’ve worked closely with to get a better picture of your working style and impact.

  6. Offer: If all goes well, we’ll move to the offer stage!
