About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will craft and refine the core Lindy Assistant experience. By building a deep expertise in our users and their jobs to be done, you'll lead user research and usability testing sessions, and iterate on designs until they sing.

About You

You understand your craft, are opinionated and collaborative, and want to flex your creativity and autonomy in a startup environment. You delight in ownership, in understanding and communicating trade-offs, in great design, and in building a product that will fold seamlessly into how people live and work.

We are an in-office company, working from our San Francisco office 4 days a week. We do sponsor visas and cover relocation fees for up to $20,000 and are open to hybrid/remote candidates for this role.

As a member of the design team, you will:

  • Work directly with the founder and product and engineering teams.
  • Define, prototype, design, and iterate on a magical product, from the micro-interactions to the end-to-end visual language.
  • Perform research to understand the user and problems to be solved.
  • Collaborate with engineers to navigate trade-offs and help them build a world-class product.

Must-haves

  • At least 3 years as a product designer (visual design and branding is a bonus).
  • A passion for building and delivering great products.
  • The ability to navigate a fast-paced work environment.
  • The desire to help build and grow both a startup and your own capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a San Francisco office.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in web technologies — JS, HTML, CSS, React…

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and generous equity.
  • Health coverage.
  • Considerable autonomy within your area of responsibility.
  • The fun of working at a no-nonsense startup that just wants to build an amazing product and business.
  • Open to remote candidates
