Next Generation, Inc., an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle HCM Integrations Developer to develop, and maintain complex integrations across the Oracle HCM ecosystem. You will be responsible for technical design and coding for mission-critical data flows, ensuring accuracy, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Benefits, Absence, Time & Labor) and underlying data structures, and is passionate about building robust, high-performance integration solutions. This is a remote role with occasional client site visits.
Job Responsibilities- Integration Development: Design and implement integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and external systems (HRIS, payroll, benefits, finance, compliance).
- Data Model Expertise: Query and optimize Oracle HCM tables and metadata; ensure referential integrity across HR, benefits, and time data.
- Coding Excellence: Develop high-quality code using PL/SQL, SQL, and scripting languages (Python, Java) for transformations, validations, and automation.
- Oracle Tools: Build interfaces using HCM Extracts, HDL (HCM Data Loader), Fast Formulas, BI Publisher, and OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) or similar middleware.
- API & Connectivity: Implement REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP/file-based transfers, and secure integration patterns (OAuth, certificates).
- Performance Tuning: Optimize queries and batch processes for large-scale HCM data operations.
- Compliance & Security: Enforce data privacy (PII), SOX controls, and audit readiness.
- Monitoring & Support: Instrument integrations with logging and alerts; troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Documentation: Create technical specs, mappings, and runbooks; maintain version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HRIS, Payroll, and IT teams; mentor junior developers.
- 7+ years of experience developing Oracle HCM integrations in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules and underlying data structures.
- Advanced PL/SQL/SQL and experience with HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher.
- Proven experience with OIC or similar middleware and API development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and secure secrets management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote, distributed team.
