Lead design, develop, and maintain Opcenter/Camstar MES solutions. Translate stakeholder requirements into technical designs, implement C#/.NET and web UI components, integrate APIs, perform code reviews, troubleshoot, and mentor an offshore development team through the SDLC.
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior MES Developer (Opcenter / Camstar) to join our team. This role requires strong technical expertise in MES development and the proven ability to lead/guide development team.
This role requires good communication skills and ability to convert business requirements from Key Stakeholders and convert them into technical details for implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge of Manufacturing and expert in MES development. Knowledge of other systems like SAP, Equipment Automation framework, Recipe Management, SPC is big plus.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications & systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to an offshore development team, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely delivery of tasks.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of extensive experience with Opcenter (Camstar) Platform: Camstar Designer, Portal Studio, Insite Web Application, and modeling (CIO/MIO configurations).
- Programming: Solid C# and .NET technology skills, plus JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and SQL.
- Experience with developing and consuming APIs (SOAP/REST etc.).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, SVN, Perforce).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
