What You Will Do
- Deploys mass promotional offers and targeted lifestyle offers to loyalty members in alignment with the loyalty promotions strategy to strengthen member engagement and drive incremental sales.
- Identifies key customer moments, life stages, and behaviors where promotions can drive incremental CLV, retention, and engagement.
- Reviews revenue goals with leadership and recommends areas of operational optimization to improve long-term loyalty and customer value.
- Identifies high-impact categories, product opportunities, and promotional levers and provides recommendations on best path forward to Loyalty and Customer Marketing leadership ensuring plans are in alignment across the marketing organization.
- Determines where strategic offers can accelerate acquisition, repeat purchase, cross-category adoption, and reactivation.
- Partners with Merchandising, Finance, CRM, Marketing, Product, Technology, and Engineering to align promotional strategy with business goals.
- Creates use cases, prioritization, and test-and learn agendas and share details with leadership to influence the roadmap for personalized promotions & strategy.
- Advances automation and targeting capabilities to improve offer relevance, personalization maturity, and performance.
- Owns the measurement framework for promotional performance, including customer behavior trends, incrementality, and mass versus targeted offer impact.
- Establishes testing standards, reporting dashboards, and insights to support optimization and executive decision-making.
- Owns the end-to-end strategy for Member Week and other marquee loyalty events.
- Defines event value propositions, promotional pillars, growth levers, and storytelling in partnership with Marketing and Brand.
- Leads, mentors, and develops a team of assistant marketing managers, fostering a high-performing team environment and supporting career growth and capability building.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Marketing or relevant field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 8-10 years of general marketing experience
- 5 years of experience in retail, promotions strategy, or related growth strategy roles
- 5 years of brand or integrated marketing leadership experience for consumer brands or retailer
- Proven experience building and executing promotional strategy at scale
- Strong analytical expertise with experience designing measurement frameworks and evaluating incremental impact
Preferred Skills/Education
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Merchandising, and Finance teams
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
