The Senior Manager, Supplier Performance Management leads the global strategy, governance, and execution of supplier performance programs across all categories and regions. The role ensures suppliers meet expectations in quality, delivery, cost, service, innovation, ESG, and risk mitigation. This leader partners cross‑functionally with Category Management, Procurement Operations, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Legal, IT, and Finance to drive continuous improvement and maximize value delivery.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a global supplier performance management framework, KPIs, scorecards, and review cadence.
- Standardize performance review processes and ensure “one common language” across all regions and categories.
- Lead supplier segmentation and prioritization models, including risk‑based tiering.
- Drive cross‑functional governance covering quality, delivery, ESG, cybersecurity, and operational performance.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), annual reviews, and monthly supplier health assessments.
- Oversee analytics dashboards and digital tools to enable data‑driven insights aligned with digital procurement initiatives.
- Ensure accurate reporting of supplier KPIs, trends, corrective actions, and executive summaries.
- Partner with suppliers to define and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Facilitate improvement programs such as Lean/Kaizen, inventory optimization, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with Legal and Category Management to integrate performance expectations into contracts.
- Oversee supplier risk assessments across financial, operational, cybersecurity, geopolitical, and ESG domains.
- Integrate supplier risk profiles into performance review templates and cadence.
- Maintain escalation procedures and business continuity plans for high‑risk suppliers.
- Partner with Category Directors, P2P, Supplier Quality, and Supply Chain Operations to drive aligned supplier objectives.
- Collaborate with IT and Data teams to deploy digital tools, automate dashboards, and integrate performance data.
- Support stakeholder communication and training on supplier performance processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop a global team of supplier performance and supplier management professionals (directly or dotted line)
- Build capability through training, best‑practice sharing, and competency development frameworks.
- Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Typically has 8-10 years of experience in Procurement and typically 2-4 years leadership experience.
- Fluent business English skills (Written and spoken).
The annual base salary range for this position is $138,000 to $165,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, geographic location, and relevant experience. Certain roles may include additional components beyond base salary, such as incentive opportunities or other forms of variable compensation. Details of any such components will be discussed during the interview process and will be governed by the applicable plan documents.
