Senior Manager, Microsoft Alliance, North America

Summary of Role: 

Nasuni is seeking a Sr. Manager to enhance our alliance partnership with Microsoft in North America. This individual will play a critical role in guiding co-sell and partner strategy and building relationships with Microsoft sales leaders and industry teams. The most important metric for this role will be IACV Growth through Co-Sell excellence with Microsoft.  This is an exciting opportunity to be at the epicenter of Nasuni’s collaboration with Microsoft and make a significant impact on our business. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Lead joint sales strategy and engagement with the Microsoft North America Sales organization and the Nasuni North America Sales organization. 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, aligning Nasuni’s goals within each. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other internal teams to execute co-sell and sell-to activities and events, enhancing brand visibility and market penetration.  
  • Drive pipeline growth and pipeline progression across Nasuni and Microsoft, maximizing market opportunity. 
  • Quantify the economic impact to Microsoft sales teams that a Nasuni deployment creates in terms of Azure Consumed Revenue (Data Services, Compute, Storage, and all others).  
  • Advocate for Nasuni's solutions, positioning the company as a top Microsoft partner. 
  • Jointly partner with Nasuni’s broader Partner ecosystem with Microsoft to drive scale for Nasuni + Microsoft solutions across the channel. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience, measured by 5+ years of working with Microsoft in a sales leadership capacity, demonstrating a deep understanding of Microsoft’s sales strategies and culture. 
  • 10+ Years of go-to-market experience overall, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.  
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Co-Sell, Azure Marketplace, and Microsoft Partner Programs, with the ability to leverage these platforms for strategic advantage. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft field sales model, seller compensation metrics, and Microsoft culture. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with sales teams at Microsoft, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. 
  • Experience in the Microsoft partner ecosystem, with an understanding of how to partner with traditional channel partners, systems integrators, and other solution partners. 
  • Familiarity with industry sales coverage models, and knowledge of Microsoft’s specific industry strategy. 
  • Strong sales management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans. 
  • Ability to travel as required- Up to 50% 
  • Global/international experience is a plus.
