The Senior Manager, HR Communications responsible for executing communication strategies that enhance employee understanding and engagement with the company's total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, talent development and recognition initiatives. This role ensures that messaging is clear, simple, and aligned with the company's brand and voice, supporting both employee well-being and organizational goals. Our purpose is to help employees and their families understand, appreciate and get the most from the benefits and programs that Charter provides, while enhancing employees' perceptions of working at and having a career with Charter.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement communication plans to support the launch and ongoing promotion of total rewards programs
  • Translate complex benefits and compensation information into engaging, employee-friendly content
  • Create a variety of communication materials such as emails, FAQs, intranet content, videos, presentations, and guides
  • Effectively partner with Benefits, Compensation, Talent and other internal stakeholders to align messaging, ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Manage annual compensation and benefits communication campaigns (e.g., annual enrollment, annual performance and compensation processes, total compensation statements)
  • Develop and implement communication plans to support the launch and ongoing promotion of total rewards programs

  • Effectively partner with Benefits, Compensation, Talent and other internal stakeholders to align messaging, ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Manage annual compensation and benefits communication campaigns (e.g., annual enrollment, annual performance and compensation processes, total compensation statements)
  • Monitor employee feedback and communication effectiveness to continuously improve strategy and delivery
  • Maintain and update content on internal and external platforms related to benefits, compensation, talent and recognition programs
  • Manage email distribution using Adobe Campaigns
  • May work with or oversee external vendors in support of communication activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Group Vice President, HR Communications to support HR communications programs, campaigns, and initiatives

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
  • HR or Internal Communication experience, demonstrated writing skills required, digital experience a plus
  • Demonstrated manage vendor partners (specifically, graphic design and printing) to meet project deadlines and stay within project budgets
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, media in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to attend to detail
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
7-10 years in HR or Internal communications related position
