About the role 

 

We are looking for a highly analytical and performance-driven Senior Manager, Ecommerce & CRM to lead ecommerce revenue growth, customer lifecycle marketing, and CRM operations across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this role will own the HubSpot ecosystem while partnering closely with Digital Media, Analytics, Sales, and Marketing teams to optimize the customer acquisition funnel and improve online sales performance.

 

This role is responsible for driving measurable business impact through data-driven insights, conversion optimization, lifecycle automation, and ecommerce performance reporting. While this individual will not directly own media buying strategy, they will play a critical role in improving marketing efficiency by analyzing campaign performance and partnering with media teams to improve conversion rates, CPC, CAC, ROAS, and lead quality.

 

The ideal candidate combines strong HubSpot expertise with deep ecommerce analytics experience and a passion for using customer data and performance insights to drive smarter marketing decisions and revenue growth.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Ecommerce Strategy & Revenue Optimization

  • Own ecommerce performance optimization initiatives focused on increasing online sales conversion and revenue growth
  • Analyze digital acquisition funnels to identify friction points, drop-off trends, and optimization opportunities
  • Partner with Digital Marketing teams to improve conversion rates, CAC, CPC, ROAS, and lead-to-sale performance
  • Support forecasting and performance analysis related to ecommerce sales and customer acquisition trends
  • Develop strategies to improve customer acquisition efficiency and maximize customer lifetime value

 

CRM & HubSpot Ownership

  • Own and administer HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub including audience segmentation, lifecycle stages, reporting, and integrations
  • Partner with Online Marketing Strategy & Execution Manager to build necessary workflows and automations
  • Build and optimize lifecycle marketing programs including lead nurture, onboarding, abandoned cart, retention, referral, upsell, and win-back campaigns
  • Manage CRM governance, data integrity, compliance, and operational accuracy across customer communications
  • Improve lead scoring, segmentation, personalization, and automation strategies within HubSpot

Analytics & Performance Reporting

  • Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards for ecommerce performance, funnel analytics, lifecycle performance, and customer behavior insights
  • Analyze campaign and customer data to identify actionable optimization opportunities
  • Monitor and report on key KPIs including conversion rates, CAC, CPC, ROAS, churn, customer lifetime value, retention, and engagement
  • Partner with Analytics and Sales Operations teams to improve attribution modeling and funnel visibility
  • Translate performance insights into strategic recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams

Testing & Conversion Optimization

  • Lead structured A/B and multivariate testing initiatives across messaging, landing pages, workflows, CTAs, timing, and personalization strategies
  • Implement test-and-learn frameworks to continuously improve ecommerce and CRM performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve landing page performance, lead quality, and customer journey efficiency
  • Support ongoing optimization of acquisition and retention funnels through customer insights and behavioral analysis

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Digital Media teams to analyze and improve campaign efficiency and downstream conversion performance
  • Collaborate with Creative and Brand teams to develop customer-centric messaging and high-performing lifecycle campaigns
  • Work closely with Analytics, Sales, Customer Experience, and Operations teams to align customer communications and funnel optimization efforts
  • Coordinate with external technology and platform partners as needed to support integrations and operational performance

 

Qualifications: 

 

Core Skills & Competencies

Ecommerce & Performance Marketing

  • Strong understanding of ecommerce funnels, customer acquisition, conversion optimization, and performance marketing KPIs
  • Experience analyzing digital media performance metrics including CPC, CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, and lead quality

CRM & Marketing Automation

  • Advanced hands-on expertise with HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub including automation, workflows, segmentation, lifecycle management, and reporting
  • Experience building and optimizing lifecycle marketing programs and customer journeys

Data & Analytics

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
  • Experience with reporting dashboards, attribution modeling, funnel analytics, and performance reporting
  • Familiarity with BI and analytics platforms including GA4, Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau preferred

Testing & Optimization

  • Proven experience designing and scaling A/B and multivariate testing frameworks
  • Strong understanding of personalization, landing page optimization, and conversion improvement strategies

Project Management & Leadership

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in ecommerce, CRM, lifecycle marketing, digital marketing, or performance marketing
  • 3+ years of hands-on HubSpot administration and campaign management experience
  • Proven track record driving ecommerce growth and improving marketing performance metrics
  • Experience working closely with digital media buying teams and analytics functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in telecommunications, broadband, subscription services, SaaS, or high-growth DTC environments strongly preferred
  • HubSpot certifications strongly preferred

 

Success Metrics (KPIs)

  • Ecommerce revenue growth and online sales conversion rates
  • Improvements in CAC, CPC, ROAS, and lead-to-sale conversion rates
  • CRM engagement metrics including open rates, CTR, retention, and lifecycle progression
  • Improvements in customer lifetime value and retention performance
  • Lift generated through A/B testing and conversion optimization initiatives
  • Accuracy and visibility of ecommerce and lifecycle reporting dashboards
  • Contribution to customer acquisition and revenue growth
