About this role:

Wells Fargo is embarking on a multiyear transformation journey aimed at building a centralized capability to store, manage and analyze Financial Crimes Compliance Operations (FCO) data to fulfill the Bank’s BSA / AML regulatory, compliance and risk commitments. Wells Fargo is seeking a candidate with deep expertise in transformation, product, data, BSA/AML, operations, and technology to solve key strategic problems associated with the transformation effort.

Success in this role will enable faster delivery of the program’s objectives, which include standing up data products to drive our regulatory, compliance, and risk commitments. This role will report into the Executive of BSA /AML Data Transformation and will partner closely with the Executive of Financial Crime Operations and the Director of Remediations and CTR Operations.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team while ensuring successful planning, integration, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility to senior management
  • BSA/AML executive support with responsibility for management routines, administrative support, periodic submission to multiple committees and oversight routines to ensure oversight of strategic goals.
  • Prepare materials for executive reviews with focus on measurements, data insights and storytelling by consolidating inputs from multiple groups into one consistent deliverable for BSA/AML
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives
  • Recommend opportunities for process improvement and delivery of effective management support routines, management reporting and metrics
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years Management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • BSA / AML experience or other operations transformation, strategy, consulting, product management, business management experience preferred
  • Previous experience identifying opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
  • Prior experience preparing business reviews and presenting updates to senior leaders, operating committees and steering committees.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
