In this role, you will:
- Lead the strategic direction, vision, roadmap, and lifecycle management of business banking commercial real estate lending products.
- Develop and enhance products and features that support the credit and financing needs of Business Banking customers.
- Optimize customer experiences across account origination, servicing, and ongoing account management.
- Execute acquisition and growth strategies, including sales team engagement, communication plans, targeting strategies, and digital channel enhancements.
- Design and implement customer management programs that improve retention, engagement, and portfolio profitability.
- Develop pricing strategies, product policies, credit strategies and profitability management frameworks.
- Build business cases and financial analyses supporting product investments, modernization efforts, and new product opportunities.
- Partner with Product Heads and executive leadership to achieve strategic and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to establish and execute system roadmaps, including modernization and enhancement initiatives.
- Drive Agile and Design Thinking methodologies throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Define product requirements, prioritize backlogs, establish KPIs, and guide cross-functional teams through delivery.
- Partner with Data Architecture and Technology teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and analytical insights across lending platforms.
- Support technology implementations that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and competitive positioning.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for commercial real estate lending products, ensuring product collateral, communications, and training materials are accurate, customer-focused, and compliant.
- Manage regulatory, compliance, and operational risks while supporting internal and external audits.
- 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of experience within financial services, banking, business banking, commercial banking, or lending products.
- Experience managing secured lending products and working closely with underwriting and credit functions.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and risk management requirements within banking and lending environments.
- Experience developing and executing product strategies, roadmaps, and product modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of lending platforms, account origination systems, servicing platforms, and related technologies.
- Strong financial acumen with experience building business cases, profitability analyses, and investment recommendations.
- Experience partnering with data architecture, analytics, and technology teams to support product development and decision-making.
- Experience working with Agile teams and applying Design Thinking methodologies.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Technology, Risk, Operations, Marketing, and Finance.
- Experience with secured lending products including real estate-secured lending.
- Experience leading large-scale system transformation or technology modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of lending compliance, regulatory frameworks, and audit processes.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party technology solutions.
- Experience using customer insights, market analysis, and product performance metrics to drive product decisions.
