The individual is responsible for Agile Product Management duties including strategic planning, discovery, customer journey mapping, stakeholder engagement, and engaging with Product Owners and their teams to implement funded initiatives.
This role assesses the end-to-end journey of trading workflows including product selection, order entry, order validation, order routing, order execution and allocations, and trade posting and settlement, with the end goal of creating best-in-class trading capabilities for advisors and clients while also caring for scalability and risk from a back-office and technology perspective.

In this role, you will:
- Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on what outcomes we need to strive for and what solutions exist to get there
- Articulate product vision, define scope, prioritize epic and feature backlogs, establish goals, and provide direction for teams to design, develop, and deliver on the proposed outcomes
- Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, team members within the Trading and Capital Markets ecosystem and broadly across the enterprise
- Provide oversight and leadership to vendors and internal support teams to ensure continual lifecycle management and to implement new solutions when required
- Provide subject matter expertise to peer support teams
- Develop business requirements and prepare business cases for new initiatives and products
- Maintain productive, collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders
- 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience and understanding of trading tools for Equities, Fixed Income and Syndicate products
- Experience articulating and capturing requisite data needed to determine measurable business impact (in the form of OKRs/KPIs) for the business area
- Knowledge of QA best practices
- Experience with retail brokerage platform delivery and/or support
- Knowledge and understanding of brokerage trading and position- and portfolio-management platforms (Bloomberg, BETA, and Fixed Income Trading platforms)
- Self-motivated and ability to lead peer teams and vendors
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, problem solving and critical thinking required
- Demonstrated ability to assess and identify complex issues and to formulate recommendations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously
