In this role, you will:
- Conduct ongoing analysis of merchant pricing performance and identify potential repricing opportunities based on established guidelines and thresholds.
- Support implementation of pricing strategies within the existing merchant portfolio, including tracking execution and assisting with validation activities.
- Monitor pricing performance versus expectations and develop pricing strategies to address variances in partnership with senior team members.
- Support development and maintenance of pricing and profitability reporting to support portfolio management and business decisioning.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities across pricing and reporting outputs.
- Support the assessment and execution of payment network and fee-related changes, including tracking impacts and assisting with implementation activities.
- Generate and maintain trend analysis and reporting to both ensure proper merchant setup/configuration and identify potential profitability impacts driven by changes in merchant behavior.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and data extraction to support business partner requests and pricing initiatives.
- Assist with billing and pricing-related issue resolution, including research, calculation support, and coordination with internal partners.
- Collaborate with Technology, Operations, and Data teams to support accurate and timely implementation of pricing changes.
- Partner with Product and Technology teams to ensure pricing tools align with payment network updates and Wells Fargo pricing strategies.
- Maintain documentation, trackers, and reporting artifacts to support execution transparency, risk management, and process consistency.
- 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Extensive experience in merchant services, payments, or financial services pricing, with strong knowledge of interchange economics, pricing structures, and payment processing workflows.
- Proven analytical expertise utilizing Excel, SQL, and related data tools to extract, validate, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
- Strong understanding of product profitability, cost modeling, and pricing optimization, including direct, variable, and non-controllable cost drivers.
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Technology, Operations, and Pricing teams to drive business outcomes.
- Demonstrated success improving processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of data quality and reporting integrity.
- Ability to translate complex business questions into actionable analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations.
- Strong project execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, identify trends, resolve inconsistencies, and deliver results within established frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational levels.
