Meet the team:

  • The IT team at Glydways is responsible for the comprehensive management of corporate applications and day-to-day technical operations. This includes providing technical support, managing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms, ensuring robust security, and overseeing the entire user lifecycle. 
  • This role will be integral in supporting our daily operations, encompassing technical support, and will also drive key project implementations such as Mobile Device Management (MDM), Single Sign-On (SSO), and the development of IT policies, among others.
  • Travel to the Bay Area, Pittsburg will be required to visit our office location in those areas. Remote will be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and maintenance: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems. Monitor system performance, manage backups, and apply updates.
  • Employee Life Cycle: Onboard and offboard new users, order and setup equipment. 
  • Technical support and training: Provide technical support to end-users and train them on new systems and hardware.
  • System design, implementation and Maintenance: Design, build, and implement computer systems, SaaS tools, networks, and databases to meet business needs. Monitor and maintain our current software, SaaS tools and hardware.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 7+ Years of Experience working on similar roles. 
  • Must have technical knowledge of tools like Google Workspace, Okta, Okta Workflows, Microsoft Entra, Intune, other MDM tools. 
  • Technical support, triage, solve and escalate user technical requests.
  • Technical Proficiency with multiple OS: Linux Ubuntu, Windows, MacOS, Android, IOS.
  • Thorough knowledge of information technology, computer systems, applications, networking and VPN
  • Familiarity with automation tools like zapier, AI agents, and scripting languages like python to help automate tasks.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills,  strong ability to analyze needs, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and as a team.
