Join the Strategic Finance team at Genesys as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Customer Success (CS) organization. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between business operations and finance—translating data into insights and driving performance across key business metrics for executive leadership.
Success in this role requires a mix of collaboration, autonomy, and strong analytical instincts. You will support recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, metric tracking, and dashboard development to uncover key business drivers. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys framing strategic questions, working with data, and uncovering meaningful insights.
This role will report to the Finance Manager for CS Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support monthly reporting and presentations on customer renewals and retention by updating data sets and highlighting key insights for leadership
Generate weekly CS sales opportunity pipeline statistics
Support annual budget creation and conduct variance analysis throughout the year
Maintain CS Finance portal content, ensuring dashboards and leadership presentations are well-organized and easily accessible
Develop and optimize Tableau dashboards to improve reporting efficiency
Identify new areas of focus and develop analyses to better understand customer behavior and drive the strategy of the CS organization
Key Qualifications:
BS/BA or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in finance, consulting, or accounting environment
Familiarity with revenue and key SaaS KPIs (Renewals, Retention, Pipeline, ARR, etc.)
Naturally empathetic, trustworthy, collaborative, and curious
Thrives in fast-paced, complex environments; able to manage multiple priorities independently with strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
Analytical and resourceful communicator who can translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights.
Comfortable working with large and occasionally unstructured or incomplete data sets
Demonstrated experience developing financial models and analyzing data sets in Excel
Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, or similar data query and visualization tools preferred
Experience using AI-powered tools for analysis, reporting, or productivity preferred

Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$75,600.00 - $140,400.00Benefits:
