Job Summary
Optimum is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Channel Support leader to drive market penetration of Optimum products in the multi-family space. This role will support the Community Account Management (CAM) team through goal setting, performance assessment, and strategic portfolio guidance to ensure CAMs are positioned for sales success. The successful candidate will bring strong operational discipline and ensure a cohesive, cross-functional approach to maximizing subscriber growth and overall portfolio performance.
Responsibilities
1. Goal Setting and Performance Assessment:
Collaborate with sales leaders to set clear, measurable goals for CAMs managing multi-family portfolios, ensuring alignment across daily, weekly, and monthly objectives that drive year-end departmental targets.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics for both individual complexes and overall portfolios, providing actionable insights to drive sales effectiveness.
Identify and implement process improvements that increase sales team productivity.
2. Portfolio Management:
Evaluate existing multi-family complexes within portfolios and recommend additions or removals based on performance data and market analysis.
Work closely with sales teams to integrate new build multi-family properties into existing portfolios, ensuring seamless transitions and strategic alignment with overall sales objectives.
In conjunction with our customer experience team, establish, maintain and report on tNPS/rNPS and property leasing staff surveys.
Track and manage property escalations and remedy ticketing process.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Leverage data analytics to assess market trends, property staff and tenant needs, and the competitive landscape-identifying both underperforming areas and high-performing opportunities to inform strategic portfolio adjustments and maximize growth potential.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership, summarizing portfolio performance and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
Assess the effectiveness of referral and incentive programs at the portfolio and property level
4. Collaboration and Training
Partner with CAM leadership and other functional teams within Sales and Optimum Communities to provide training and resources that enhance understanding of portfolio strategy and performance metrics.
Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and feedback among team members to optimize portfolio management practices.
5. Market Research:
Conduct ongoing research to identify potential multi-family complexes for inclusion in portfolios, focusing on high-growth areas and emerging markets.
Stay informed about industry trends and technologies that impact multi-family housing and data solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in sales support, portfolio management, or a related role, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and CRM software.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of achieving results in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with multi-family housing or real estate sectors.
