About the role

We're looking for a super hero, hands-on Senior Email Marketing Manager to own and scale our email marketing program for a fast-growing online social sweepstakes casino platform. You'll be responsible for managing a large, segmented user base, running daily broadcast campaigns, and continuously improving conversion through data-driven testing — all within Customer.io.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who has done this exact job before in the online casino/gaming industry and can hit the ground running from day one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end email marketing strategy and execution

  • Manage promo plan with the emails and offers being sent out on a daily/weekly basis

  • Secure 0 days of downtime with the email broadcasting

  • Grow email database almost from the ground zero toward 10M+ contacts, and manage it at that scale — including acquisition, deliverability, list hygiene, and compliance

  • Build and maintain deep audience segmentation (10–15+ segments) based on lifecycle stage, deposit status (FTD/no FTD), VIP tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Emerald, Diamond, etc.), and behavioral signals

  • Plan and launch daily broadcast campaigns across the entire segmented database — including time-sensitive/expiring offers

  • Coordinate closely with design/creative to ensure offer emails are on-brand, visually consistent, and shipped on a daily/weekly cadence

  • Maintain detailed logs and reporting of every broadcast sent (open rate, click rate, conversion, revenue per segment)

  • Analyze campaign performance weekly, generate hypotheses, and continuously test subject lines, offers, send times, and segment logic to improve conversion rate

  • Work cross-functionally with product, CRM/lifecycle, design, and community management to align email with pushes, SMS, and other channels

  • Present weekly performance reviews and improvement plans to leadership

Qualifications
  • Fluent English

  • Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on experience with Customer.io

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working specifically in email marketing for online casino / iGaming / social casino brands

  • Experience working with an email database with 10M+ contacts, including hygiene, and deliverability management at scale

  • Demonstrated experience building and managing deep user segmentation (10–15+ live segments simultaneously, e.g., by VIP tier, deposit status, lifecycle stage)

  • Experience running daily email broadcasts to a fully segmented database (not just occasional campaigns)

  • Strong understanding of casino/gaming lifecycle marketing: FTD (first-time deposit) conversion, VIP tiering, re-engagement, and expiring/time-sensitive offers

  • Experience coordinating email with other channels (push, SMS, in-app) as part of a unified promo calendar

  • Experience setting up A/B tests for subject lines, send times, and offer creatives

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
