Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) sees a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL.
Position Responsibilities:

• Provide design, analysis, and review of Power Electronics and Analog Electronics.
• Contribute to Internal Research and Development (IRAD) of products, solutions and systems.
• Lead and support technical improvement of existing products and components.
• Set standard operational and technical tasks subject to instructions and work routines utilizing reasonable latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete tasks and duties based on changing work situations.
• Create company technology development strategies.
• Develop, design, and conduct research that results in new product offerings or business opportunities.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 10+ years of related work experience.
• Analog power electronics experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

Typical Education & Experience:
Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Level 6: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
Level 5: $164,900 to $223,100
Level 6: $197,200 to $266,800
