As a Senior Drupal Front-End Developer you will use your exceptional web development skills and experiences to architect and lead the development of responsive Drupal websites and web applications. You’ll work on innovative and inspired work across a variety of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback for pull requests regarding best practices and standards in Drupal Front-end architecture;
- Collaborate with the design team to improve accessibility, usability and adherence to design vision;
- Provide a level of effort estimation and task decomposition for backlog items and client requests;
- Help support existing Drupal websites and themes;
- Serve as an escalation point for complicated front-end issues;
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience developing complex recent version Drupal enterprise web applications including custom views, modules, and themes;
- Deep understanding of Drupal CMS site building and theme development;
- Advantage: proven activity in the Drupal community;
- Proficient in web accessibility standards (WCAG);
- Comfortable and able to communicate directly with the client acting as a technical consultant;
- A track record of delivering custom themes for Drupal sites;
- Experience working with a wide range of Drupal modules and themes, as well as frontend frameworks;
- Experience with Pantheon and Acquia hosting environments, along with Acquia certification (Front-end Specialist, Drupal Developer, or Site Builder), is a plus.
