Role Overview:

As the Senior Director, Sales, you excel in enterprise-wide operational excellence, orchestrating workflows for peak team performance. You are a strategic leader whose vision and guidance shape the trajectory of the sales division. Leveraging your extensive experience, you provide overarching direction to the sales teams, driving excellence and innovation. Your role involves aligning teams with organizational goals, setting comprehensive strategies, and ensuring seamless execution.You provide advanced leadership to sales directors and teams. Your focus is on orchestrating initiatives that drive revenue growth, enhance market presence, and solidify the company's competitive position.

Key responsibilities include shaping and executing overarching sales strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, and championing a culture of excellence within the sales division. Your analytical expertise allows you to derive actionable insights from data, guiding decision-making at the highest levels.

You collaborate closely with executive leadership and contribute to the formulation and execution of company-wide strategies. Success in this role is marked by achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets, fostering innovation, and maintaining a competitive edge in the market. What you do each day:

  • Provide exceptional strategic vision and direction to the sales function, influencing the broader organizational strategy with a deep understanding of market dynamics
  • Lead efforts in developing and executing a global sales strategy, expanding the company's market presence
  • Engage at the board level, providing strategic insights and contributions that align seamlessly with the company's enduring long-term vision and strategic objectives
  • Make high-impact executive decisions that not only shape the sales function but also contribute significantly to the organization's overall success
  • Oversee the development of leaders within the sales function, actively contributing to succession planning and ensuring a dynamic leadership pipeline aligned with organizational goals
  • Collaborate at an executive level with leaders from various departments, fostering a cohesive approach to achieving the company's overarching organizational goals
  • Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships at the executive level, driving collaborative initiatives that contribute significantly to the success of the sales function and the company
  • Showcase innovative industry leadership, introducing transformative practices that position the company as a pioneer and influencer in the market
  • Demonstrate strategic crisis management skills, showcasing resilience and adaptability in navigating the sales function through complex challenges and unforeseen circumstances
  • Establish thought leadership within the organization, contributing to the shaping of the company's strategic narrative and positioning in the market

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales management developing first line and second line leaders, particularly in a high-growth SaaS environment
  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • Proven experience driving team efficiency or output quality through the strategic use of AI tools and automation
  • Bachelor's, Master's degree or equivalent experience, underlining a robust educational foundation complemented by extensive practical experience in sales leadership
  • Experience leading large teams 50 or more, demonstrating an aptitude for managing substantial growth and fostering the professional development of sales teams
  • Proven ability to lead, hire, and train not only supervisors and managers but also contribute strategically to the overall leadership development within the organization

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $155,000-$175,000 OTE. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
