Position
SailPoint is seeking a technically astute and strategic leader to fill the role of Senior Director of Agentic Technologists. In this pivotal position, you will define and execute the go-to-market and technical validation strategy for SailPoint's AI Agent and Machine Security initiatives. You will be responsible for building and leading a world-class team of security architects and engineers focused on demonstrating how to govern, secure, and manage the lifecycle of AI agents and autonomous systems within the enterprise. Your team will ensure SailPoint continues to define the market for securing both human and sophisticated non-human identities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
·      Go-to-Market Strategy & Vision: Architect the technical go-to-market strategy for securing autonomous AI agents and machine identities. Develop the technical validation frameworks, assets (e.g., demo) and pre-sales motions required to drive customer adoption and expansion in this emerging market.
·      Elite Team Cultivation: Recruit, mentor, and lead a specialized team of solution architects and security practitioners. Foster a culture of deep technical expertise and innovation at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, identity management, and cybersecurity.
·      AI Agent Identity Governance Leadership: Serve as the company's foremost expert on the identity and access management (IAM) challenges of AI agents. Architect and evangelize technical strategies for governing the entire lifecycle of AI agents—from creation and credentialing to runtime authorization and decommissioning—treating them as first-class citizens in a unified identity security framework.
·      Ecosystem Influence & Thought Leadership: Act as the primary technical subject matter expert for executive leadership, product management, and marketing on the evolving landscape of AI agents in the enterprise. Engage with strategic customers and partners to validate solution-market fit and shape the future of our AI governance capabilities.

Skills & Qualifications
·      Proficiency in Agentic AI & Autonomous Systems (required): Deep architectural understanding of Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), multi-agent systems, and the underlying platforms (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI, ServiceNow). You must be able to articulate how these systems plan, execute tasks, and interact with enterprise data and APIs, and identify the associated identity and access control challenges.
·      Expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM): Extensive background in core IAM and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) principles, including identity lifecycle management, Just-in-Time (JIT) access, least privilege enforcement, Zero Trust architecture, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
·      Mastery of Non-Human Identity: Proven experience in designing and implementing security controls for a wide range of non-human identities, including service accounts, API keys, CI/CD workloads (SPIFFE/SPIRE), and RPA bots. You must be able to articulate the unique security risks and governance gaps posed by autonomous, non-human actors.
·      Data Architecture & Security Literacy: Strong comprehension of how data architecture, particularly in the context of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and LLM fine-tuning, impacts AI behavior. You must possess a deep understanding of the security implications related to data ingestion, classification, and access control for sensitive information.
·      Strategic Execution: The ability to translate complex, emergent AI security trends into actionable, customer-facing technical validation criteria and compelling value propositions that align with our product roadmap and business objectives. Why You Should Join SailPoint
