The Senior Director, Product works closely with a diverse, experienced team of colleagues, clients and partners to solve complex problems in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This position partners with cross-functional leaders from Dev, UX, Marketing, Sales and Professional Services, to gain insight, develop ideas, and craft a vision for products that will support their goals and push the overall business forward. The Senior Director, Product is an expert with our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions and target markets, and uses that knowledge to facilitate the growth of our Billtrust Platform.
What You'll Do:
● Lead team of product owners/managers providing mentoring and career development
● Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, launch and iterate on value-adding products, features and services
● Execute business and revenue models, enable internal departments for success
● Ability to analyze risk and priorities, lead process improvement, and create risk mitigation appropriately
● Communicate team and product status, obstacles, roadmaps, and priorities to the organization
● Launch beta programs, early adopter programs, and transitions to production
● Set a vision and direction for product to be transformational and best in class
What You'll Bring to the Team:
● Strong ability to successfully drive strategy and execution in a fast-paced, solution-centric environment - 12+ years of relevant experience ideal including some background in product management
● Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor & coach junior team members to their potential
● Demonstrated savvy to work directly with prospects and clients in sales engagements and user forums – Strong client consulting acumen with an ability to influence
● Proven ability to partner with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, UX and other teams to disseminate key market drivers
● Self-motivated with strong relationship building skills spanning from operational audiences to executive audiences
● Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and work well in a distributed team-oriented environment
● Demonstrated understanding of Agile/Scrum
● Proven experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), order-to-cash, credit, collections, fintech, payments or analytics strongly preferred
The expected base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $280,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
