We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you’ll leverage advanced analytics and machine learning to drive strategic decisions and enhance our product offerings. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll transform complex data into actionable insights, directly influencing Fullscript’s growth and the success of our practitioners and their patients.
What You'll Do:
- Advanced Analytics & Modelling: Develop and implement sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, uncover trends, and predict future behaviors.
- Experimentation & Causal Inference: Design, conduct, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes and new features.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities and influence product and business strategies. 
- Data Pipeline Development: Work alongside Analytic Engineers to design and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient data collection, processing, and availability.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. 
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably in product-led, high-growth environments (SaaS or eCommerce a bonus).
- Analytical Expertise: Strong foundation in experimental design, causal inference, and statistical analysis.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle ambiguous problems, identify key insights, and drive actionable recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Curiosity and humility, you’re excited to learn and even more excited to teach.
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or R. 
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost or similar) and statistical modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Industry Experience: Background in health tech, integrative medicine, or related fields.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with BI tools like Looker or Tableau, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Snowflake or AWS.
- Advanced Techniques: Knowledge of deep learning, natural language processing, or other advanced machine learning methodologies.
