Senior Coordinator, Communications

We are seeking a collaborative, curious, and highly organized Senior Coordinator, Communications to join our Global Corporate Communications team. This role will provide broad support across the team, helping execute internal and external communications that strengthen employee engagement, support company priorities and reinforce Kontoor Brands' reputation with key audiences.

The successful candidate will be a strong writer and dependable teammate who is eager to learn, comfortable managing details and able to jump in wherever support is needed. This individual will play a generalist role across Corporate Communications, supporting a range of projects, channels, and team priorities while building experience in internal communications, external communications, corporate storytelling and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Support & Communications Coordination

  • Provide flexible, day-to-day support across the Corporate Communications team, helping move projects forward and ensuring details are tracked and completed.
  • Help coordinate communication projects, timelines, approvals, distribution lists, and follow-up actions.
  • Support the development and execution of communication plans under the guidance of communications team members.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather information, confirm details, and help prepare clear, accurate communications.
  • Serve as a dependable pinch hitter for team priorities, shifting between projects and channels as business needs evolve.

Internal Channels & Corporate Social Media

  • Source, draft, edit, and publish content for internal communications channels, including corporate intranet, email updates, town hall materials, and other employee-facing communications.
  • Develop and coordinate content for corporate social media channels, helping identify story opportunities that reflect Kontoor Brands' culture, business priorities, brands, associates, and community impact.
  • Maintain content calendars, track channel needs, and help ensure communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with company messaging.
  • Assist with drafting and editing announcements, talking points, presentations, social posts, recaps, and other communications materials.
  • Monitor internal and external content opportunities and bring forward ideas that help tell the Kontoor Brands story in a clear, engaging way.

Content Development & Storytelling

  • Write and edit clear, engaging content across multiple formats and channels.
  • Help identify and develop employee, brand, business, and community stories that support company culture and corporate reputation.
  • Adapt messages for different audiences and channels while maintaining a consistent corporate voice.
  • Proofread materials for accuracy, clarity, grammar, tone, and alignment with editorial standards.

Kontoor Brands Foundation & Community Support

  • Support the Kontoor Brands Foundation grant cycle process, including coordinating timelines, materials, application information, approvals, and follow-up needs.
  • Help organize and maintain grant-related documentation, tracking tools, and communications.
  • Assist with communications that highlight community impact, associate engagement, and Foundation-supported initiatives.
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support for Foundation-related activities as needed.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • Approximately 2-4 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, marketing communications, social media, journalism, or a related discipline.
  • Strong writing samples or demonstrated experience creating communications content for professional, academic, nonprofit, or corporate settings.
  • Experience managing details, coordinating projects, and supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to track deadlines and follow through on next steps.

  • Comfort working with communication platforms, content management systems, social media tools, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting or tracking tools.
  • Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling company information.
  • Collaborative team player who is comfortable asking questions, seeking feedback, and learning from more experienced communications professionals.
