On a day-to-day basis, you'll cultivate a sense of trust and belonging in the community by engaging with Atlassian Champions through:
  • A private Slack community, private forum groups, email, and in person
  • Monthly virtual events such as Coffee Chats and Office Hours with regional Champions
  • Highlight Champion stories and share APAC regional accomplishments on a consistent basis across quarterly reports, Slack channels, and blog posts
  • An Annual Regional Connect event that you'll host to reward top performing Champions in APAC
  • Enforcement of the Champion Program Guidelines

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. We follow consistent hiring practices and account for each candidate's skills, knowledge, and experience when setting base pay within the range.
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a big-picture thinker and also able to dive deep into the details that help our Champions feel seen and heard. You're extremely empathetic; you care about what customers need and want to help them achieve their goals. Also:
  • 5+ years of proven experience building, scaling, and influencing the strategy of community, advocacy, or ambassador programs (especially chapter or user-led models)
  • You are a disciplined program operator and business-rules owner who clearly articulates program needs and outcomes, defines user journeys, anticipates edge cases, and owns documentation, SOPs, and tooling health
  • You are able to prioritize, manage deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment; highly organized, with the ability to work with multiple teams in different countries
  • You can seamlessly shift gears between different working styles and regularly learn new processes
  • You're a strong communicator and have excellent writing skills
  • You're skilled at advancing and growing relationships with stakeholders/partners and driving executive interactions and alignment with stakeholders and marketing teams
  • You're energized by building strong relationships with a diverse group of customers and attending user-driven events
  • You appreciate thinking outside the box, operate with a sense of urgency, and have a knack for finding unique solutions to problems
  • You're comfortable working autonomously, but also thrive in a team setting

And it's admired, but not required, if:
  • You have experience working in Atlassian products, plus Slack, HubSpot, and Salesforce (added bonus if you're familiar with Bevy and/or Higher Logic Vanilla, Tableau)
