Core Responsibilities:
- Execute purchase orders in alignment with company policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with approved supplier contracts and pricing.
- Manage a high volume of purchasing requests with attention to detail, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to confirm specifications, timelines, and budget approvals prior to order placement.
- Maintain accurate records in procurement systems, ensuring transparency and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with strategic sourcing and category managers to support larger vendor initiatives and implement negotiated agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues related to delivery, quality, or service levels.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve purchasing workflows, tools, and reporting processes.
- Support supplier onboarding, data accuracy, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in tracking spend and preparing reports to inform category strategies and performance metrics.
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Oracle).
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional stakeholder support.
- Working knowledge of procurement policies, processes, and contract compliance requirements.
- Certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) preferred but not required.
