A Day in the Life:

  • Lead business analysis activities for large-scale strategic initiatives, ensuring program-level objectives are clearly defined and translated into actionable solution requirements.
  • Translate high-level business needs into detailed requirements that enable solution teams to design and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain program documentation, playbooks, and requirement artifacts to support alignment across business, product, and engineering teams.
  • Develop technical workflow diagrams and process flows that illustrate system interactions, integrations, and data movement across applications.
  • Conduct data mapping and capability analysis to understand how new features and enhancements impact existing systems and downstream processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives.
  • Utilize tools such as JIRA and Confluence to manage documentation, maintain traceability, and support effective communication across delivery teams.
  • Evaluate cross-system impacts and dependencies within large application environments to support informed technical and product decisions.

What it takes:

  • Availability to work Central Standard Time (CST) hours to support collaboration with distributed teams.
  • Experience supporting large-scale, strategic technology initiatives with multiple workstreams and system dependencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect business needs to technical solutions.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and tools such as Postman to review and understand service interactions.
  • Advanced experience using JIRA and Confluence for requirement management and documentation.
  • Ability to create workflow diagrams, process flows, and other visual artifacts that support technical and business understanding.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain clear documentation across complex programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience writing SQL queries to support analysis and data validation is a plus.
