As the Senior Associate, Financial Benefits - Retirement, you will be responsible for the success of the financial operations as well as support the Retirement program at Justworks.  You will also work closely with Financial Operations Analysts and Product and Engineering teams to improve existing systems.

Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On
  • Support the handling of escalated or complex cases involving the administration of benefits, including but not limited to:
    • Oversee and negotiate SOP creation and adherence in conjunction with our partner
    • Flag SLA compliance issues and recurring themes with our partner
  • Resolve complex benefit inquiries/issues generated by Customer Success and Sales teams within the agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs)
    • Work closely with internal Benefit Specialist team to identify patterns of outreach to improve customer experience
  • Share resources such as Confluence pages to the Customer Success team that can clarify SOPs
  • Build out and maintain internal benefit resources (help articles, training decks, process documentation, etc.)
  • Participate in internal and regulatory audits of partners, products, and systems
  • Assist Team Lead with new-hire training for the Associates position
  • Work closely with third party partner to resolve escalated issues and raise up recurrent problems or system changes
  • Act as backup to Team Lead on Partner calls including relaying weekly operational issues, feedback, and questions
  • Work with internal teams and third party partner to track and administer all recurring processes in adherence with deadlines 
  • Consistently evaluate current processes and create new policies and documentation surrounding plan maintenance and servicing guidelines
  • Partner with our Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to improve systems and resolve issues
  • Lead feature requests and use-cases to improve backend functionality by working closely with Engineering stakeholders

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Experience with partnership management
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar software
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Partnership management experience preferred
  • SQL knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of Employer Sponsored Benefit Plans required
  • Advanced knowledge of Financial Benefits required
  • Experience in 401(k) and knowledge of employer-sponsored benefit plans required
  • QKA, RPF certification, or equivalent strongly preferred

The base wage range for this position based in the NYC-metro area is targeted at $75,500.00 to $83,050.00 per year.

The base wage range for this position based outside the NYC-metro area is is targeted at $70,215.00 to $77,236.50 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
