The Senior Associate, Content Development & Digital Activation is an execution-focused role responsible for developing innovative high-impact activation content for standalone and campaign plans and coordination of the Nuveen digital educational content platform. This role combines digital planning and execution, activation-focused content creation with platform management, coordinating platform functionality, engaging advisor experiences, and data-driven optimization. The ideal candidate is an accomplished short-form and promotional/activation content developer and executor who excels at translating complex investment concepts into accessible content while managing multi-channel digital activations and platform operations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

Activation Content Development & Campaign Component Planning (40%)

  • Lead creation and execution of multi-channel Advisor Education activation campaigns across email, social media, promotional materials, and digital touchpoints
  • Write, edit, and design compelling activation content that drives advisor engagement and action
  • Build activation workflows and lead follow-up journeys in coordination with Client Marketing and Advisor Education teams
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated campaigns on time and on strategy
  • Collaborate with Advisor Education, Marketing and subject matter experts to ensure campaign alignment and brand consistency
  • Execute activation campaigns through marketing automation platforms (Hearsay, email marketing tools) and CRM systems
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution including brief development, stakeholder coordination, content production, deployment, and post-campaign analysis

Digital Platform Management (35%)

  • Coordinate and oversee placement and production across Advisor Education digital platforms, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience
  • Coordinate with key functional Nuveen business units and external vendors to manage digital platform navigation structure, content placement and taxonomy, and navigation structure
  • Coordinate with Nuveen stakeholders and external vendors on platform governance, maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements
  • Act as primary platform gatekeeper, creating and providing forward content planning and scheduling, maintaining content quality standards and governance protocols
  • Oversee digital and campaign content management lifecycle including uploads, updates, archiving, and version control across platforms
  • Coordinate with vendor to resolve user support escalations and platform issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage integration points between digital platforms and relevant marketing technology stacks
  • Access digital platform metrics, review and analyze
  • Develop and execute regular platform reporting
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance content personalization, workflow automation, and user experience optimization

Content Execution (15%)

  • Create and execute activation components, including social (LinkedIn, Hearsay) digital splash pages, video and email
  • Develop content briefs, manage review cycles, and ensure content meets quality, compliance, and brand standards
  • Develop short-form digital educational content (2 pages or less) for financial advisors and end-investors
  • Adapt content for multiple formats and distribution channels

Analytics & Performance Measurement (10%)

  • Collaborate with analytics partners to develop and maintain performance dashboards for digital platforms and activation campaigns
  • Manage internal Domo analytics platform and support reporting from Domo and other analytics platforms
  • Track key engagement metrics (enrollment, registrations, completion rates, click-through rates, leads, lead conversion metrics)
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for content and campaign optimization
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend measurement frameworks
  • Create and deliver reports for internal audiences

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 3 years of progressive experience in content development planning, digital marketing, campaign management, and platform operations – preferably focused in asset or investment management
  • 3 years of experience writing and editing marketing or educational content, preferably in private markets or alternative investments

Preferred:

  • 5 years of progressive experience in content development planning, digital marketing, campaign management, and platform operations – preferably focused in asset or investment management
  • 5 years of experience writing and editing marketing or educational content, preferably in private markets or alternative investments
  • Experience with multi-channel campaign execution and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience in financial services, advisor education, or B2B professional development environments strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and stakeholders

Base Pay Range: $28.85/hr - $42.02/hr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
